Financial reporting and payouts

Stash provides financial reports, initiates payouts, and resolves payment issues on a rolling basis.

PeriodDetails
Reporting PeriodMonthly reports finalized within 5 business days of the month’s end.
Payout TimingPayout transfer initiated by the 28th of the following month (e.g., January’s reporting period disbursement transfer initiated on February 28th).
Refunded AmountsChannel fees for initial payment and refund transaction remain applicable. The amount of refund will be reflected in the reporting period during which the refund was granted.
Disputed AmountsHeld until resolution.
Chargeback FeeDeduced from the Reporting Period during which the dispute was raised.

Stash also provides detailed financial reports that outline revenue, cost of sales and margins, as well as transaction-level data. These reports transparently break down taxes and channel fees, but also include cart content and player IDs from your systems. This means you can track what players buy without needing to track an additional player ID from Stash.

Additional reporting capabilities

If you have additional reporting requirements, we can explore other options like making data available through an API, building custom reports, or sharing data in other formats (e.g., Parquet file format).

Taxes

Stash handles taxes on your behalf. This means:

  • Stash acts as the Merchant of Record (MOR) and Seller of Record (SOR)
  • Taxes are charged to the buyer (player), deducted at the transaction level, and held for remittance
  • We stay up to date on tax compliance for global digital goods taxability, as well as national, state, and city tax distinctions

Predictability and transparency are critical for your business.

Stash ensures that payouts, billing, and financial flows are clear, reliable, and aligned to your growth needs — so you can focus on players, not paperwork.
